A Short Bio

Born in North Carolina, I grew up in northwestern Indiana near Chicago. In 1969, I graduated from East Gary Edison H.S., then attended college in Campbellsville, Kentucky where I met my future wife, Christie Jo Kamos in 1973. We married in 1976 and lived in Virginia, Tennessee and Pennsylvania before settling in Greenwood Mississippi where I began my business career in sales. Christie found her true calling at the age of 44 when she began her practice as a professional massage therapist. We have one son, Joshua, who has given us three grandchildren; Jasmine, Declan and Annabelle.

In August 2014, I was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease and began my battles to cope with that formidable foe. This journal is about those trials.
