After less than 3 weeks, the donations I've received and my matching funds have gotten me almost halfway to the $10,000 goal! To get the other half, I'm making an appeal to my church family, friends around Greenwood, folks I used to work with at Viking, and frankly anyone I can get this appeal in front of, including celebrities, politicians, athletes, etc, etc.
Regarding that last group, I am busy making a list of Mississippians like Morgan Freeman, Brett Favre, Oprah Winfrey, Dak Prescott and John Grisham. And, I've got an appeal packet to send them as I find the best means to actually get it in their hands. Anyone that can help me get the appeal to a notable Mississippian, please contact me.

The Davis Phinney Foundation's mission is to "help people with Parkinson's live well today". And, I personally got help shortly after my diagnosis in 2014 by attending one of their Victory Summits. Today, I listen to their podcasts to get suggestions for my exercise regimen, tips on improving my diet, plus hopeful reports of new meds and treatments in the future. Their programs help people here and now.
Long story short, I believe so much in the Foundation's work that I am asking everyone I can reach if they would make a donation through my Team DPF page above. And, I will match all donations dollar for dollar until the $10,000 goal is reached. Click on the link below to donate now!
